Scholarships

Committment to community

As part of its continuing commitment to the community, Guthrie County REC will award three $500 college scholarships per every calendar school year.

Applicants for the scholarships must be U.S. citizens or resident aliens enrolled in a power line program; or Guthrie County REC members enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited college, university or vocational/technical school. The recipient shall emphasize study in a power line program or the fields of business, electronic technology, electric engineering or agriculture engineering.

Application forms and scholarship guidelines have been sent to area schools. All completed applications will receive consideration and must be postmarked on or before the deadline.
