Automatic metering information, or AMI, is the technology of automatically collecting consumption, diagnostic, voltage, and status fsys gtom members' energy metering devices and transferring that data to Guthrie County RECs database for billing, troubleshooting, and analyzing.

This technology saves Guthrie County REC the expense of periodic trips to each physical location to read a meter.  Another advantage is you monthly electric bill can be based on near real-time consumption rather than estimates or untimely readings by personnel.  This timely information, along with analysis, can help Guthrie County REC members to better understand and control their electric consumption. Click on the image at right to increase its size and readability.
