What is SchoolNet 8?
KCCI SchoolNet8 program allows individuals to view real-time weather data from schools throughout Central Iowa. This data is also used for instructional purposes in the classroom to teach science, math and meteorology. Guthrie County REC has partnered with KCCI and the following schools so that children can have an enhanced learning experience: Adair Casey, Panora Elementary and Woodward Granger. In addition the cooperative's community support doesn't end there, Guthrie County REC sponsors two live web cams in Panora and Woodward so that people can view live weather conditions in those areas.
